Daisy Tortuga

Daisy Tortuga, an East London-based visual artist and rugmaker, interweaves the traditional textile technique with illustrations inspired by the absurdity of everyday life and experiences of womanhood.

There are elements of storytelling in Daisy’s work, such as understanding life’s chaos and, in doing so, healing. With solo exhibitions held in London and Sweden, she has also formed creative collaborations with brands such as Adidas, Saye, and Nando’s.

Daisy has a BA in Illustration degree from Kingston School of Art, and her work spans various disciplines, from large-scale tufted rugs to delicate ceramics.
