Visceral Beauty is a group exhibition that explores the fascinating visual qualities of our bodies. We go through life in them, yet we often feel estranged from our own bodies and their inner workings. A body is not just an astonishing machine, but also a vessel for our soul and feelings. And from utmost intimacy to sheer horror, our relationship to the body is often filled with contradiction and mystery.

Visceral Beauty presents works by three European contemporary artists who take inspiration from anatomy and biology. The selected works span a wide variety of mediums including textiles, sculptures and paintings.

The exhibition provides you the opportunity to be confronted with the raw, somewhat uncomfortable and undeniably beautiful nature of the flesh.
